Wedding Dress Cardigans
As a naturally cold natured person, I want to have some form of coverup come wedding day. Being that I haven’t even bought a dress, there is no need for me to worry about this just yet. But I just couldn’t ignore this picture…
Lovely yes? I found it via WeddingBee, but is actually from Fashionbride’s Weblog. I absolutely love the blue cardigan in this photo (as modeled by actress Keira Knightley). Cardigans are one of my favorite pieces of clothing, and I wear them all the time. (Seriously, I have worn a cardigan to work 3 out of 4 days this week.) I probably wouldn’t wear it during the ceremony or for family portraits, but it might be a fun detail to add toward the end of the reception. And I may even consider cardigans for my bridesmaids.
What do you think? Will you use a coverup on your wedding day?
you KNOW how much i love cardigans. to prove it? i’m wearing one right now. totally in favor of the ice blue as well.
I absolutely love this idea and particularly this cardi! i’ve been looking everywhere for something just as pretty with this exact length and v-neck so that it just shows the bust line of the dress, but i can’t find it anywhere!
any ideas???
I am not sure where this exact cardi came from, but I have seen similar ones at Anthropologie and Urban Outfitters. In fact, just today I received an email from Urban Outfitters saying their instore cardigans are on sale for $29. I would check out their website!
