I love recording videos on my digital camera, but eventually I would like to have an actual camcorder. Enter Flip, the ultra chic and easy to use video recorder. This would be a great thing to add to a gift registry because you could potentially use it during your wedding to capture some informal video. What makes Flip unique is its user friendly design and affordability. Retailers sell Flip at a variety of price points ranging from $59.99 to $229.99. I found low prices on Amazon, but I haven’t shopped around for it much. I am considering adding an item like this to our registry in the future. Does anyone have one and want to share their user experience?

2 people at my work have one and love them! they just take small videos and are able to upload them quickly.

mr. smith got one for his man shower and he LOVES it. my mom’s had one for a year-ish so that was her gift to him. there are waterproof cases so he’s going to take it on his kayaking bachelor party. the quality’s not bad either. if you look at the man shower post on my blog, there’s a video shot with our flip camera the day we got it. you’ll LOVE it – and watch woot.com, they have deals on them about once a month.
